The summer announcement weeks have started, and after a series of major events, we haven’t had the reveal of a new Silent Hill, something that leaves any fan of the series and games of the genre disillusioned.
After rumors that Konami is collaborating with several studios on new projects in the series, E3 week has passed. The events that kept its essence alive haven’t brought us anything from Silent Hill.
While some get annoyed and think about what Konami is doing, others decide to get to work. This is the case of the Codeless Games group, which is recreating Silent Hill with the help of Unreal Engine 5 and presenting 10 minutes of gameplay.
Harry Mason roaming the School in Midwich while looking for his daughter is the gameplay shared here, which seems to beautifully capture the atmosphere and tension of the original game that wowed the world in 1999 on PS1.
The folks at Codeless Games are sharing this gameplay and asking for feedback from Silent Hill fans to make adjustments and improve their remake of this Konami classic.
