During yesterday’s Nintendo competition, organized on the occasion of the E3 fair, the popular jRPG series could not be missing.
Atlus has announced that Shin Megami Tensei V will debut in Japan on the Nintendo Switch console on November 11 this year. The premiere on the western market will take place a day later, on November 12.
In addition to the standard edition, a special collector’s edition of Forbidden Nahobino BOX will also be available for sale. Interestingly, the given release date coincides with the recent leak from Persona Central.
The main character will be a high school student who will enter a desert world called Da’ath, where he will have to join forces with a mysterious man, Naobino. Over 200 different demons are waiting for players, of which several new projects are being prepared by Masayuki Doi, who worked on the game Shin Megami Tensei 4.
In July last year, it was officially announced that the fifth part of this jRPG series would debut in 2021. It is also worth recalling that at the end of last month, the premiere of Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster, a renewed version of the production from 2003, took place. This title appeared on PC, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.
Finally, it is worth adding that Atlus will present the new Shin Megami Tensei V gameplay tonight.
