Swedish studio Sharkmob, founded in 2017 by former developers of Massive Entertainment and IO Interactive, has announced its first project: a multiplayer battle royale game set in the universe of Vampire: The Masquerade. An official title and platforms have not been announced, but it will be released in the second half of 2021.
In Vampire: The Masquerade, we have vampire sects at war on Prague’s streets and roofs. Choose your style of play, go alone or together, fighting rivals and the hostile entity determined to exterminate all vampires. Use your supernatural powers, weapons, and blood to become stronger to hunt, fight, and survive the night.
Sharkmob is also working on two additional projects: “highly ambitious AAA quality projects powered by Unreal Engine.” The Malmo studio is being developed in Sweden, while the other by the newly opened studio in London. “It’s no secret that we love online, action-packed social experiences – so it’s safe to say that these games contain such elements,” says the studio’s website.
