The CO Team, Midwinter Entertainment have announced that Scavengers will debut on PC and console of the current generation during the first months of 2021, with a related technical test to be held from 18 to 20 September. The team opens registrations.
Scavengers combine a classic PvE sandbox structure with a class-based multiplayer and see teams of up to three players compete for survival and dominance in a frozen and hostile land. Players interested in trying out Midwinter Entertainment’s next ‘free-to-play’ shooter firsthand will be able to do so from 18 to 20 September next thanks to a playtest organized by the development team, with the related registrations that are already active on the site official dedicated to Scavengers.
As stated in the press release, “all players attending the technical playtest weekend will get a first look at the brand new character design and new gameplay. Features recently introduced include large-scale PvE / PvP battles with hundreds of enemies and advanced AI creatures on a 9km2 map. The technical playtest weekend is a crucial developmental milestone and allows new players to give their feedback to the development team for this pre-alpha phase.”
Scavengers will be available on PC, the current generation console, in early 2021.
