Samurai Warriors 5 is announced for PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC

Koei Tecmo officially announced Samurai Warriors 5 for PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC via Steam during the last Nintendo Direct.

Developed by Omega Force and featuring a new story and revamped character designs, the game will launch players into the Sengoku period with a focus on Nobunaga Oda and Mitsuhide Akechi. More details will be given on February 25th.

Samurai Warriors 5 is expected to be released in the summer of 2021. See the trailer shown on Nintendo Direct below.
