So far, when an Android phone is lost or stolen, users will search for it with the Find My device feature. However, the problem is that the cellphone must be connected to the internet network.
So, to solve this problem, Samsung is rumored to be releasing a find my device feature that can be used even when the phone is not connected to the internet network.
Reporting from XDA Developers, and max WeinbackSamsung have released this feature on their smartphones and named it Offline Finding.
This feature was first found in the Galaxy series, and it is stated that “a lost cellphone can be found by another Galaxy even if it is offline.”
With this feature’s addition, it will undoubtedly be very helpful for Samsung users when they are looking for their lost cellphone.
