The first news from CES 2022 arrives: Samsung has presented three new monitors: an Odyssey monitor, a smart monitor, and a 4K monitor.
“Samsung’s 2022 range represents the next generation of innovative monitors, with an offering that meets the needs of competitive gamers, professional designers, and more,” said Hyesung Ha, Executive Vice President of Visual Display at Samsung Electronics. “In the face of the constant evolution of the world of work and entertainment, we are proud to offer monitors that can enhance user experiences while they are comfortably seated in their own home.”
The Odyssey Neo G8 monitor is the world’s first monitor with a curved 4K screen with a 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time. The monitor is 32 inches and boasts the presence of Quantum Mini LED and Quantum HDR 2000. The M8 2022 Smart Monitor, on the other hand, has an ultra-thin 11.4mm screen, a UHD panel with a 99% sRGB color gamut, and features within the Smart TV platform with pre-installed productivity apps. It also acts as a SmartThings control hub, without the need for a PC, has a removable SlimFit camera with magnetic support and a USB Type C port to charge devices, offering itself as a real all-in-one workstation.
The S8 high-resolution monitors from Samsung is instead available in versions 27 and 32 inches, both with UHD panel. The display is VESA certified HDR 600. In addition, both models have a LAN port and a USB Type-C port.
