Saints Row: The Third Remastered is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S, with new versions equivalent to the new PC version with Ultra graphics settings.
In a press release on the Saints Row website, developers Volition and publisher Deep Silver announced that the game is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S soon, with a May 25. In addition to the news that the game is coming to next-gen consoles, the press release also shared that a PC version is coming on May 22 via GOG.
Saints Row: The Third Remastered is an enhanced version of the 2011 open-world action game, with all DLC and additional content in one package. The game will use a 60 FPS frame rate, with dynamic 4K resolution on both consoles, while the Xbox Series version will also offer a choice between Performance at 60 FPS 1080p or Beauty at 30 FPS 4K modes.
According to the press release, this improved version of the game will be free for anyone who already owns the game and will be equivalent to ultra settings for PC. This means that anyone who has the PS4 or Xbox One version of the game will get a free upgrade to the PS5 and Xbox Series version.
