Stalker 2 is still in development, and GSC Games World has not revealed many details about the game other than its central premise. Still, recently revealed the bet on the game’s narrative, which will react to the players’ choice, with several possible endings.
In words to the Russian podcast Not Brought In, Zakhar Bocharov, the studio’s public relations officer, revealed more information about the game, even though there are many details regarding its history.
According to the translation provided by Gamingsym, the players’ choices over Stalker 2 will have consequences for the story’s narrative, with “an immense number of narrative branches and several endings.”
Besides, the studio is also focused on implementing mods, with the priority of a stable release that allows the community to develop their creations.
Finally, Bocharov also talked about the A-life simulation system, which is “much more meticulous and detailed” than the previous version and which operates interactions between NPCs, even when the player is not there to see them. These interactions between NPCs will have tangible consequences for players, even if they don’t see them firsthand.
