According to unconfirmed reports, Nvidia may next month present enhanced variants of GeForce RTX 3080 and RTX 3070Ti graphics cards, equipped with 12 and 16 GB RAM, respectively. The refreshed models would hit the shelves in January next year.
Unofficial information was provided by a Twitter user, who published leaks regarding the performance of graphics cards in mining cryptocurrencies. The Internet user suggests that the new products will be presented on December 17, while retail sales will start on January 11.
Compared to the current models, the RTX 3080 would receive an additional 2GB of RAM, and the 3070Ti would receive twice as much memory. What is worth adding, the leak also mentions a variant of the older RTX 2060 GPU with 12 GB of RAM – this would be available in stores on December 7.
