For almost a day, Roblox servers – a platform that allows you to create your games – have not been working. Fans are convinced that a burrito-related promotional campaign is to blame, although the authors deny it.
The first mention of production problems appeared on Friday afternoon when a message was published on the project’s official Twitter informing the difficulties. At that time, it was assured that work on resolving the defects was in progress.
Today, however, the game still doesn’t work, and fans are speculating on its reasons. Some believe that the source is the Chipotile restaurant promotion launched on October 28, giving away a free burrito to the first 30,000 players, completing the company’s Roblox challenge.
To win the prize, those interested must complete a task related to the Boorito Maze in production and then visit a virtual cashier at certain times of the day. Internet users suspect that the great interest in the initiative has overloaded the servers.
However, the players’ theory is contradicted by the creators.
Interestingly, the parents of young players, among whom the title is popular, also complain about Roblox’s troubles. On social media, they explain that production problems cause frustration and irritation in their kids.
