On Gamescom 2021, ROTU Entertainment has lifted the veils from Rhythm of the Universe: Ionia. This new virtual reality game will put us at the center of an epic adventure safeguarding the environment. The game will arrive on September 23 on Oculus Quest, PlayStation VR, and SteamVR.
Set in a fantasy world, Ionia offers us a particularly complex task: to safeguard the natural setting of the scenery and keep the environment safe, embarking on a mysterious journey to save the mystical Harpa.
ROTU Entertainment is a team specialized in musical productions, and this also plays a fundamental role in the concept of Ionia. Players will have to solve puzzles based on music theory and interact with virtual flowers scattered in the Ionian forest that emit musical sounds based on instruments such as drums and bells. You can traverse the huge virtual forest by climbing trees or ziplining across ravines, all while wearing a VR headset.
Ionia won the Cannes XR Development Showcase award in 2020 for its immersive technology and environmental message. The software house announced its intention to donate 5% of the proceeds to the non-profit organization Wildlife Warriors Worldwide, founded in 2002 by Terri and the late Steve Irwin.
