[REVIEW] Valorant, Tactical Shooter Seasoned with Unique Elements

Valorant is a first-person tactical shooter game from Riot Games that is arguably new and fresh because it combines two different types of gameplay. You can feel the tactical gameplay of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and every character in Valorant has different skills like the Overwatch game. Well for those of you who are still hesitant to play this, better see first let’s review Valorant according to the author of World Games.

After trying to play it for more than 20 hours, the author has found several vital points that are interesting to review from Valorant. Without further ado, let’s discuss a little about Valorant!

Light and Can Be Played on a Potato Laptop or PC!

For those of you who have laptops with a standard specification but want to play Valorant you should not have to worry because Valorant requires specifications that are not so high to run smoothly. If you’re going to play Valorant with frames per second averaging 30 FPS, then at least your laptop or PC uses an Intel i3-370M processor with an Intel HD 4000 VGA.

With these specifications, you can play Valorant at 30 FPS with left-aligned graphic settings. Meanwhile, to run at 60 FPS, you only need to use an Intel i3-4150 with VGA Geforce GT 730.

Fun and Unique Gameplay

Because Valorant is arguably a combined game between CS: GO and Overwatch, this Valorant certainly has unique gameplay because each character has its exceptional skills that are different, but still pay attention to the tactical gameplay of CS: GO.

Unlike Overwatch which focuses on skills, in this Valorant you still prioritize the use of weapons for war. You could say even the powers of each character that is not a determinant of victory because each skill has their purposes, and the ability can still be overcome easily.

Good Anti-cheat System

Riot Games indeed promises a good anti-cheat system for Valorant. The anti-cheat is named Riot Vanguard. If you look at it, Riot Vanguard is an anti-cheat system that is quite powerful because until now the author still hasn’t found a cheat when playing Valorant.

Even if there were, surely Riot would not remain silent, they would do something so that cheaters did not roam in Valorant by giving them punishment. Even the cheaters who reportedly used the cheat in the beta test still could not play Valorant after the global release. So you should not even try using cheats, huh!

No Pay to Win

Games that are competitive and devoted to big competitions really shouldn’t pay to win. As we can see that so far Valorant only sells cosmetics such as weapon skins, and the skin only changes its appearance, it does not affect whatsoever other than appearance.

Conclusion

In conclusion, Valorant is very suitable to be played by FPS game lovers, especially FPS tactical shooter type. If you start to feel bored with the FPS game that you are playing, then it never hurts you to try Valorant to explore the new and fresh gameplay!
