Developer Orbit Studio and publisher Super.com have announced that the Retro Machina puzzle action/adventure game will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam in the first quarter of 2021.
Set in a hand-drawn retro-futuristic world, Retro Machina is inspired by the science fiction works of famous authors such as Isaac Asimov and Arthur C. Clarke. Players are invited to explore four diverse biomes, each with its aesthetic and challenging bosses.
The protagonist is equipped with the ability to control other machines and needs to use all the tools at his disposal to rebuild himself and find out if there is still some intelligent life. He must explore the lonely and disintegrated maze-like terrain and take control over the antagonist’s mortal automatons to discover the world’s mysteries and the origin of his only remaining city.
