Resident Evil Village - Check the minimum and recommended requirements

You can now check if your PC can run Resident Evil Village (or Resident Evil 8) with the desired performance.

Capcom updated the Steam page with the minimum and recommended requirements, revealing the minimum hardware for those who want to play the latest title in the Resident Evil saga on the PC.

Take into account that the requirements are to play at 1080p / 60 FPS. If you have a higher resolution monitor (1440p or 4K), you will need better hardware than indicated.

Resident Evil Village will be released on May 7th.

Minimum Requirements for Resident Evil Village

  • Requires a 64-bit operating system and processor
  • Operating System: Windows 10 (64 bit)
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-7500 / AMD Ryzen 3 1200
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti with 4GB VRAM / AMD Radeon RX 560 with 4GB VRAM
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Additional notes: Estimated performance (when set to prioritize performance): 1080p / 60 fps; the framerate can drop in graphic intense scenes; NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT are required for Ray Tracing

Recommended Requirements for Resident Evil Village

  • Processor: Intel Core i7 8700 / AMD Ryzen 5 3600
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 / AMD Radeon RX 5700
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Estimated performance (when set to prioritize performance): 1080p / 60 fps; the framerate can drop in graphic intense scenes; NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 or AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT are required for Ray Tracing.
