Capcom postponed Resident Evil Re:Verse, the multiplayer game originally scheduled to be released alongside Resident Evil Village.
The information comes to us through the site of Resident Evil Re:Verse, where we can read “Re:Verse will be released in the summer of 2021”. If the dates were initially set, resident evil’s multiplayer mode would arrive on the same date as Resident Evil Village – May 7.
Through a beta, the community has already had the opportunity to try out the new game mode that brings together six players, but the test had some problems and was the subject of a suspension. However, it is not clear that this event may be the origin of this postponement of Resident Evil Re:Verse, but it may be one of the reasons justifying the producer’s decision.
However, Resident Evil Village remains on a good path and will still have a game mode beyond the main campaign: Mercenaries mode. For the more impatient, who can hardly wait for May 7, there is now the possibility to play the final demo of the new game for longer since its duration was extended until May 10.
