Capcom representatives announced that the open beta of Resident Evil Re:Verse will start on April 7 and will last until April 10. Two days before the start of the test, those willing will be able to download a demo version.
The beta will be available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, and as part of backward compatibility, it will also be launched by owners of the latest models of Microsoft and Sony consoles.
Re:Verse is an online shooter in which players can play various heroes known from the Resident Evil series – Jill, Chris Redfield, Leon, Ada or Claire.
The game’s basis is skirmishing several people on small maps in the formula of a typical Deathmatch. However, while playing, you can collect special capsules with the virus that will allow you to turn your character into a dangerous biological weapon – even into a Nemesis.
The full version of Re: Verse will be available for free to anyone who purchases Resident Evil Village. The premiere is scheduled for May 7. Capcom plans to develop the online mode, adding new content for many months.
