After the resounding success of Deathloop, received extremely positive reviews from critics, and was awarded two Game Awards at the TGA 2021, Arkane Studios is focusing its efforts on Redfall, the new cooperative multiplayer video game coming out on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X / S.
Initially announced in June 2021, the title should see the light during the summer season, but the French studio is considering a postponement, according to various sources.
Redfall was first shown during E3 2021, but no production status updates have been shared in more than six months. According to GameRant and Pure Xbox reports, some reputable insiders claim that the game may be out late, probably during the fall season rather than in the summer as previously announced. Given all the problems caused by Covid-19, it is possible that Arkane had some problems during development, so a postponement of a few months in STALKER 2 style is not to be excluded.
Redfall is in development at Arkane Studios and will be the first Microsoft exclusive made by the French studio. The game will be released on Xbox Series X / S and PC and Game Pass on day one. The postponement is not official now, but we expect confirmation or denial from Arkane before the end of spring.
