Rockstar Games may be working on a next-gen upgrade of Red Dead Redemption 2, according to what was recently reported by AccountNGT. In the last period, the insider has correctly anticipated one of the latest Sony State of Play, the postponement of Forspoken, and various information on Hogwarts Legacy, and now he believes he has heard rumors about the development of upgrades for PS5 and Xbox Series X / S of Rockstar’s masterpiece.
GameRant reports the news in the first place, adding that Rockstar may soon reveal the new version of the game. Over the past decade, we’ve seen Take-Two’s studio re-release GTA V twice, making it available on Gen 8 and 9 consoles after launching in 2013 on PS3 and Xbox 360. Red Dead Redemption 2 was a huge success with nearly 45 million copies sold, so a definitive version for next-gen with Red Dead Online sure makes sense.
What do you think of it? Would you like to return to play the role of Arthur Morgan also on the new generation consoles? Let us know in the comments!
