Ubisoft has shared a new trailer dedicated to Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction, his new cooperative shooter born as a spin-off of the famous Rainbow Six: Siege. The new video confirms cross-play, cross-save, and cross-progression and reveals some bonuses provided for players of both chapters of the series.
Rainbow Six Extraction is presented as a cooperative experience for up to three players, with constantly updated content and great replayability. The title will then be supported as “Game as a service,” with the seasonal introduction of free and paid content.
The trailer confirms the possibility of using cross-save and cross-progression since day one. You can then start a game on your PS4 and continue on the PS5, or share your progress between Ubisoft Connect, cloud streaming, and so on. Cross-play support has also been confirmed since launch, so luckily, there will be no barrier to stop you from playing with your friends.
Among the bonuses, it is revealed that Rainbow Six: Siege players will receive the “United Front Bundle” for free, a package with skins for operators of both games with an estimated value of around forty euros. Furthermore, purchasing Rainbow Six: Extraction will permanently unlock the eighteen operators of the game in Rainbow Six: Siege, where they can be used at will, forever.
Rainbow Six Extraction will debut on September 16 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, PC, Stadia, and Luna.
