On the web, we can already find the first trailer presenting the gameplay of Project Haven, an independent tactical game inspired by the XCOM series, developed by Code Three Fifty One studio.
The action will occur in the realities of a dystopian future in Haven City, the last inhabitable city on Earth. As the commander of the Steel Dragons, or mercenary squad, we will have to lead our subordinates to victory against the forces of gangsters, law enforcement officers, and other mercenaries to earn our livelihood… and perhaps change the balance of power in the city.
As in the XCOM series, the battles will occur in turn-based mode, but like Phoenix Point, we will target any part of the opponent’s body, and a successful hit should affect how the enemy reacts to the damage dealt. In addition to the single-player mode, there will also be a co-op mode for up to four players who can experience the story created by the creators together.
Project Haven’s release date has been tentatively announced for 2022, but more details have not been released.
