Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake is coming in 2022 but will bypass Ubisoft Forward

We have sad news for fans of the adventures of the legendary Prince of Persia. Representatives of Ubisoft Pune and Ubisoft Mumbai have revealed that the long-awaited remake of Prince of Persia: Sands of Time will not appear at the upcoming Ubisoft Forward conference.

This information seems a bit disturbing, considering that the premiere of the remake of this cult production has recently been postponed indefinitely. Fortunately, the developers have also confirmed that this title will debut next year, which is in line with recent reports.

The game Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time debuted originally in October 2003. Over the next few weeks, this title appeared on PS2, Xbox, GameCube, and PC. The remake was initially dated to March this year, but the likely negative reception of the first trailer prompted the creators to undertake additional work on the title.

See the video below for a remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. Hopefully, we’ll eventually get something much better.

When discussing the Prince of Persia series, it is worth citing recent rumors that Ubisoft is currently working on a completely new installment of this series. The premiere would take place in 2023 or 2024.
