If there is a video game saga that is twinned with controversy, that is Postal. The action game that has always sought to be outside the limits of what is correct is back with a new title that has been presented as Postal: Brain Damaged. This latest installment seems to be more astray than any, but in its presentation, Postal: Brain Damaged confirms launch on consoles for next year, along with the PC version.
The first thing is to attend to the announcement trailer that they have published from Hyperstrange and CreativeForge Games, in which a proposal is presented as wild as usual with footage from the alpha version. In this way, it is discovered that Postal: Brain Damaged is a kind of spin-off that recreates an action more typical of the 90s.
Those who know this game series will know well the disturbing background they have wanted to give to each of the deliveries. But this time, they tried to take advantage of that lore to provide it with a new direction. With that question in mind, whether this is a dream or reality, Postal: Brain Damaged seems to advocate for a somewhat different concept and design. The developer explains in her descriptions that it is “a spin-off that takes the most scandalous FPS series of all time in a different retro-shooter direction.”
Converted into a classic shooter, it will not be an open world, but a high-speed shooter with the same amount of violence that the saga is used to. Significant changes will turn Postal: Brain Damaged into a surreal shooter where a vast amount of firepower is predicted. The presentation trailer is part of a longer video that the developer, Running With Scissors, introduces the game. We leave you with that complete premiere, as they have published it on their official YouTube channel.
Now we have to wait to see how this game progresses, where Postal: Brain Damaged confirms launch on consoles for next year, although it has not been specified for which ones.
