PlayStation Talents is a low-profile program that Sony uses to help small Spanish studios bring their games to consoles. The latest game in the initiative will be Aeternum Game Studios’ Aeterna Noctis, released on PS4 and PS5 on December 15, 2021. Aeterna Noctis is a 2D adventure that mixes fast-paced combat with puzzle platform elements.
According to a post on the PlayStation Blog, players will take on the King of Darkness role and test their skills as they unravel the world’s secrets.
“You can improve your abilities through a huge skill tree, choosing between three different paths: ranged, melee and magic. Allowing you to personalize your playstyle and use six unique weapons and powerful skills,” reads the press release.
The game will include 16 different areas to explore, more than 100 enemies, and 20 bosses. The study states that Aeterna Noctis lasts around 20 hours, but that time can be extended by carrying outside missions.
Not only are those quests designed to test you, but they’ve also been designed to add to the game’s lore, enriching the story of the King of Darkness’s journey to regain the power of Aeterna.
