This year the new consoles will be launched. Microsoft brings the new Xbox and Sony the PlayStation 5. This year I crossed over to the Xbox for the first time, although I do not fall into the category of players who probably have to strike immediately in the first slide – although, as you know: “Having is better than need”.
Neither Microsoft nor Sony has given away prices or exact dates, but Sony has advertised at least once. A spot made it onto the Internet. Doesn’t show a current game, but a lot of CGI – and in terms of content, you go into the new feeling that the controllers will probably convey.
The “Play Has No Limits” spot highlights, among other things, the sound experience with Tempest 3D AudioTech and the haptic feedback of the DualSenseWireless controller. These functions will be experienced and felt by gamers on the new PS5 console.
With Tempest 3D AudioTech, the sounds come from all directions as the video progresses. In the spot, the woman reacts to everything she hears – regardless of whether the sounds come from the front, from above, or behind. When the main character draws their bow at the end, players can feel the tension of the bowstring through the adaptive triggers of the DualSense wireless controller.
