PlatinumGames has provided an update on the development of Bayonetta 3 as the wait continues for a public reveal. “There is no need to worry,” the team told fans. The action sequel released by Nintendo was first announced via a short teaser at The Game Awards in December 2017, but the title has since vanished into thin air.
Earlier this year, series creator Hideki Kamiya appeared to anticipate the game’s presentation this year. But there are now three months of 2021 left, and we don’t know if there will be a possible announcement event before Christmas.
Kamiya said: “If you remember last time, I said that even if everyone was asking about Bayonetta 3, maybe everyone should forget about it for a while. I need to hold this position for now because in the end it is not our decision what to say. and when to say ” . PlatinumGames studio head Atsushi Inaba added, “No need to worry. It’s all right.”
With nearly four years elapsed since 2017 ‘s Bayonetta 3 announcement, Nintendo was forced to insist in June that the game is still in development and making good progress. Kamiya reported that the game’s development team is as eager as its fans to show Bayonetta 3 publicly but stressed that the decision rests with Nintendo.
We hope to have updates on the title soon, but we just have to wait before then.
