The release of Overwatch 2 is scheduled for October; until then, the Blizzard development team still has some work to do. If some changes are already well defined, others are still being analyzed, such as the new cosmetic items and their price, which can reach 45 dollars.
Twitter user Portergauge recently posted an image of a Blizzard survey about the price of different cosmetic items. From what we can see, the studio is looking into the possibility of selling mythical skins for $44.99. As we look at the other issues, the idea remains that the studio is digging up the ground to introduce new pricing.
It is worth remembering that Overwatch 2 will be free to play and use Battle Passes and cosmetic items to finance its operations. There is no official confirmation of the prices Blizzard will charge.
Overwatch 2 enters early access on October 4th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
