As promised, a few hours ago, People Can Fly and Square Enix announced new content coming to Outriders, the coop looter shooter released on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC last April. During the live streaming event dedicated to the game, the developers announced two expansions: the first, New Horizon, available from today on all platforms at no cost, and the second, Worldslayer, arriving in 2022.
Outriders: New Horizon introduces four new expeditions set in as many unpublished places of Enoch and a new Transmog system, which allows you to change the appearance of your equipment with that of another previously obtained. The update also removes the stopwatch, thus allowing all users to complete missions without resorting to the use of the most powerful weapons necessarily, and brings several improvements to the balance of classes.
The New Horizon expansion will be available for free from today, November 16, 2021.
Also, during the live stream, People Can Fly announced that a new expansion called Worldslayer will be presented in the spring of 2022, without revealing further details. It is currently unclear whether this is a free or paid DLC, but we know it will further expand the endgame with new content.
