Oddworld Inhabitants recently shared a series of gameplay mini-videos, which illustrate the key features of Oddworld: Soulstorm, the latest chapter in the series starring Abe.
In addition to these videos, visible at the bottom of the news, the developers have also revealed the minimum and recommended system requirements for the PC version and explained, in detail, how the free upgrade from PS4 to PS5 works.
First, here are the PC system requirements:
- Minimum: Windows 7 64 Bit, Intel Quad Core 1.7Ghz, Nvidia GTX 670 or equivalent, 8GB RAM.
- Recommended: Windows 10 64 Bit, Intel Quad Core 2.3Ghz, Nvidia GTX 970 or equivalent, 16GB RAM.
However, the PlayStation versions have some points to clarify: the digital version of Soulstorm will arrive on April 6 on PS4 and PS5.
As previously announced, the title will be offered as a free game for PS Plus subscribers on next-gen consoles. For this reason, it will not be possible to receive the old-gen version for free. Subscribers to the PS Plus in April will have only and exclusively the digital version of the PS5.
On the other hand, those who purchase the PS4 version will be able to make a free upgrade to the PS5 version at any time.
As for the retail version, the game will be released in stores on July 6. Those who purchase the PS4 retail version will also get the PS5 digital version at no additional cost.
On PS5, we remind you, Soulstorm will be able to boast clues and video walkthroughs through the use of the Activity cards, one of the Sony console’s exclusive features.
Where will you continue Abe’s adventures? PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 or PC? Or will you redeem the free PS5 version while waiting for a next-gen console?
