Nintendo may soon reveal a new Switch controller. This was reported by a user on Twitter reporting an FCC application labeled as “Nintendo Game Controller.” The label also shows the “HAC” code, usually used in all products related to Switch, which would therefore represent a great clue. We will see at this point if Nintendo will announce something shortly.
As suggested by a user on Twitter, a certain @ SamusHunter2, Nintendo may soon reveal a new controller for the Switch. The user reported a new FCC application labeled “Nintendo Game Controller” and was released today, September 16th.
FCC IDs are assigned to devices when they are registered with the United States Federal Communications Commission to be legally sold in the country. In addition to the simple application, however, an important clue is reported, the code “BKEHAC043” is associated with the product. Maybe some of you don’t know this, but the HAC code is used for all Switch-related products like the same console, Joy-Con, or Ring Fit Adventure’s Ring-Con.
Therefore, the prerequisites for a reveal of a controller are all even if there is no confirmation. It remains to be seen what kind of controller that might be. Assuming it could be a controller dedicated to a past console like the Nintendo 64 or perhaps with style inspired by the Game Boy that would fit the recent rumors. Another hypothesis could be a new Pro Controller that could launch with the new Switch OLED next month.
The hypotheses are many but remember that there is still nothing confirmed despite the plausible clues, so everything must be taken with the usual pliers.
