WayForward has released a completely new update to Shantae and the Seven Sirens, titled “Spectacular Superstar,” adding four new game modes, extra narrative content, and other optional features.
Here you can see the trailer with some details about this update:
Originally released for consoles and PC in May 2020 and Apple Arcade in September 2019, Shantae and the Seven Sirens already have hours packed with action, platforming adventures, and exploration, plus a wonderful opening sequence animated by renowned studio TRIGGER.
Now, with the “Spectacular Superstar” update, players will have five new ways to experience the game.
In addition, the new modes introduce improvements in dialogs, objectives on the map, tracks, all features that can be turned off in the pause menu. Finally, for players looking for something more challenging, there is the possibility to unlock the Hula Costume (which offers more magic power in exchange for defense). It can be used in all modes after the game has been completed at least once.
This content will already be available on the PS5 version that will be released soon, both in digital and physical format by Limited Run Games. Shantae and the Seven Sirens is currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, PC via Steam, GOG and Humble Store, and Apple Arcade.
