A new trailer for Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World has been released. This is the remake of Monster World IV. The original game Ryuichi Nishizawa is working on, supported by other important team members that developed the classic, released in 1994 on Sega Mega Drive.
It’s time for new trailers for the return of some Sega classics. After Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX, which we told you about yesterday, it’s the turn of Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World.
The game is developed by ININ Games and STUDIOARTDINK with contributions from some members of the series’s original team. The project is directed by Ryuichi Nishizawa, while the soundtrack is entrusted to Shinichi Sakamoto and the character design to Maki Oozor. Here is the new trailer for the Monster World IV remake.
Unlike what was done for Alex Kidd, this is a remake made in 3D cell shading graphics, with 2D gameplay remaining faithful to the original title. For the first time in the series, a voice will be given to the main character, thanks to the Japanese voice actress Ai Fairouz.
Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World will arrive in the second quarter of 2021 on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
