During the State of Play, Sega gave more details on the gameplay of Lost Judgment, also showing a new trailer. Among the various mechanics illustrated are the combat system, school activities, and Detective Yagami’s new athletic skills.
Sega has provided new gameplay details for Lost Judgment on the State of Play occasion, the upcoming noir action thriller from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio. The new trailer released shows two of Detective Yagami’s new investigative actions: athletics and stealth.
By climbing buildings and performing smooth stunts, it will be possible to access areas otherwise unreachable. Stealth can be used instead to sneak past safety or for silent eliminations.
Yagami has access to three martial arts style combos during melee combat: Crane, Tiger, and the new Snake style. The advantage of the Snake style is to redirect an opponent’s attacks directed against them. Each style rewards active play and counter management uniquely.
Yagami’s trail leads to several districts of Japan and a local high school where he must “infiltrate” as an outside consultant who advises activity clubs. With this comes the Stories of the School, where it is possible to make friends with students from all walks of life. In schools, it will also be possible to participate in the Dance Club, fight for the supremacy of bots in the Robotics Club and have fun with off-campus activities, train in a boxing gym, and race with a gang of bikers.
Digital and deluxe pre-orders for Lost Judgment are now open. All digital pre-orders come with the QuickStart Support Pack, a set of items to help you kickstart your investigative work. Plus, if you pre-order the Digital Deluxe or Digital Ultimate editions, you will be able to play three days early on PlayStation Early Access starting September 21, three days before the game’s worldwide release on September 24, 2021.
