Sony and Guerrilla Games have surprised with a new trailer for Horizon: Forbidden West, the great bet of the Japanese company for the first quarter of 2022, which will arrive on February 18 on both PS5 and PlayStation 4 . A somewhat unexpected maneuver, especially if we consider that we already saw a new trailer at the recent The Game Awards 2021.
In the new video, you can see many unpublished species that we can find on our trip to the Forbidden West with Aloy. Specifically, in the trailer, we can see, in greater detail, the species such as the Rollerback, the Sunwing, and the Slitherfang. If we go to the official PlayStation blog, we can read the explanations made by the narrative director, Ben McCaw, for this purpose:
” Some species serve as guardians of the natural order, while others have the sole purpose of killing, and what is worse, the power to control them has fallen into the wrong hands.”
It stands out, above the rest, the immense giant cobra, an enemy that, surely, will require a good previous study before being able to face it with certain guarantees of success.
The short blog post also highlights that we have countless creatures to discover, which will be the sequel to one of the most acclaimed PlayStation 4.
Guerrilla Games assure that they are working hard so that “no one is left behind” when it comes to enjoying their latest great work. So it seems clear that the intention that users who access the PlayStation 4 title do so in the best possible conditions, aware that many people will not be able to opt for the best version because, even if they want to, they will not have the possibility of acquiring a PS5.
