GameSpot has released a new Guilty Gear Strive video that features gameplay from the developers themselves. During the nine-minute video, some new moves were shown for Axl Low, Ky Kiske, and Sol Badguy.
It seems that Ky Kiske now has access to a Dragon Install, something that is usually reserved only for Sol Badguy. It is unknown why Ky Kiske can suddenly execute a Dragon Install, but it will certainly affect his gameplay.
According to GameSpot, Ky Kiske’s new technique strengthens “each of his special moves significantly. Upon activation, it sends a shock wave that repels the opponent. It will also cause a change of area when hitting the corner ”.
As noted by GameSpot, this powerup can only be activated while the character is in poor health. This will be particularly effective for comebacks or ensuring victory.
To execute the Dragon Install of Ky Kiske, the player must make low, lower left, and left diagonal twice (being in the left corner of the screen), followed by the strong button (Heavy Slash).
Guilty Gear Strive will be released on April 9 for PS4, PS5, and PC via Steam. An open beta will take place between 19 and 21 February.
