There were unconfirmed reports on Twitter about the next installment of BioShock, including a slide from the alleged presentation of the game by the developers. The information is fascinating but must be treated with care.
User Oops Leaks says the game’s full name is BioShock: Isolation, though the subtitle may be draft and changeable. The alleged game logo can be seen in the picture below.
The game is set in a dystopian city new to the series, and the developers work on Unreal Engine 5. The developers are said to include veterans from Irrational Games (the studio responsible for the previous parts of the series) and people who worked on Watch Dogs Legion, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Mafia 3 Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.
Oops Leaks wrote that we do not have to wait long for the announcement because the disclosure of the game will take place in the first quarter of 2022.
The slide, as mentioned earlier, reveals a bit more details about the place of the action. The location consists of two cities that are opposites – both in terms of ideology and location. The first settlement is “a free and healthy society successfully led by a leader.” The second, in turn, is “an isolated, underground city, separated from the world on the mountain, led by a dictator who is waging a” vertical war. “”
The graphics add a bit of credibility to the leak – there are even 2K logos and Cloud Chamber studios, which the publisher established to create a new BioShock – but it must be admitted that such a slide can be easily prepared.
Until official information is released, the above news should be treated as unconfirmed. Some players suspect that the announcement of the next BioShock may occur at this year’s The Game Awards gala, i.e., on December 9, which would contradict the information from the leaker.
