Officially announced last July 4, NBA 2K23 returned to show itself about a month later with the first official trailer, revealing the improvements made to the technical sector and some pieces of gameplay. The latest installment of 2K Sports and Visual Concepts’ sports simulation has proved a great success, with over 10 million copies sold. The Take-Two studio wants to raise the bar with more spectacular graphics, realistic animations, and more satisfying gameplay.
The new trailer released by 2K does not delve into any mechanics. It only shows the excellent facial animations of the basketball players and the level of fidelity of the fields and the stands, with the audience and the benches looking much more active and realistic. Fortunately, we won’t have to wait long to find out more about NBA 2K23, as the study has confirmed that more details will be shared before the end of this week. Remember that the game will be available from September 9 on consoles and PC; even if on the Switch, it will not be able to count on the same level of detail.
NBA 2K23 is now available for preorder on all platforms, both in Standard edition and in WNBA and Deluxe editions. Two content-rich editions with Michael Jordan on the cover are also available for collectors, a nice way to celebrate issue 23.
