NBA 2K22, the latest installment in the 2K sports franchise, will debut worldwide on September 10 on consoles and PC. The new game from Visual Concepts and 2K Sports promises great news, especially on next-gen consoles.
The new gameplay trailer shown a few hours ago gives a first taste of the title’s main features, which also seems to count on much more fluid animations than in the past.
As revealed by the developers, NBA 2K22 will include several new game mechanics, including new dribbling, precision jumping shots, a completely revised blocking system, and many improvements to the AI of the players.
In addition, the career and MyTeam mode has received several noteworthy improvements, and it is finally possible to explore a larger version of the neighborhood (now “City”), furnish your home, meet NPCs, and so on. Unfortunately, most of these mechanics are exclusive to next-gen consoles, so players with PS4, Xbox One, Switch, or PC will be forced to play a version with several restrictions.
NBA 2K22 will be available from September 10, 2021, on consoles and PC, and is offered in Standard edition (€ 69.99), Standard next-gen (€ 74.99), and 75th Anniversary Edition (€ 99.99). The game is available for preorder.
