Warner Bros and Player First Games have released the first cinematic trailer for MultiVersus, the Smash Bros-style free-to-play fighting game coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, and PC. The trailer shows some of the playable characters, including Arya Stark (voiced by Maisie Williams), Batman (Kevin Conroy), and Shaggy (Matthew Lillard ), and new ones are revealed. At the end of the video, the arrival of an Open Beta is confirmed, scheduled for July.

MultiVersus is in the Alpha phase and will be released in 2022 on PC and the above consoles. Players registered for the closed trial will be able to try the title in preview from 19 to 29 May, while all the others will have to wait until July to dive into the fray with their favorite Warner Bros hero. The first cinematic trailer confirms some of the leaks in recent months, with the Tasmanian Devil (Looney Tunes) and the Iron Giant confirmed as new playable characters
