Capcom has announced three digital events for Monster Hunter, with the first currently underway. The release date of Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin has just been announced, the second installment of the spin-off of the series with a focus on history. The title will arrive on July 9 on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. Also unveiled the editions available at launch, pre-order bonuses, and dedicated amiibo.
As Monster Hunter fans know, two chapters are coming to Nintendo Switch and already confirmed for PC. Monster Hunter: Rise is a traditional chapter, while Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin continues the saga born on Nintendo 3DS and more focused on history.
Capcom, in the digital event currently underway, has just unveiled the release date of Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, which will arrive on July 9, 2021, on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. The game will also be available in a Deluxe Edition with bonus armor and costumes, as shown in the image.
A costume will be given for Ena, one of the game’s characters, as a pre-order bonus.
As for Rise, there will also be three exclusive amiibo dedicated to the title, respectively Ena, Ratha, and Tsukino, here they are. Of course, the use of amiibo will be exclusive to the Nintendo hybrid version.
