The new trailer for Monark, the JRPG created by the former developers of the Shin Megami Tensei saga, immerses us in the atmosphere of his academy, which a mysterious fog has engulfed. The game will debut in 2022 on PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
Announced to coincide with E3 2021, Monark is a promising JRPG with a strategic combat system similar to the Divinity: Original Sin series. The combat system will offer a fusion of real-time elements and turn-based possibilities and the possibility for the protagonist to control a selection of demonic creatures.

There will be four companions, each of which will change the main character’s fate depending on the chosen actions. The game is also recommended to manage your Ego carefully as you advance; the hero’s wishes will change depending on the chosen words and actions. Below is the new opening trailer:
Set in the Shin Mikado Academy, our hero faces a barrier that separates the campus from the rest of the outside world. Inside the academy, a strange Fog leads to madness and cryptic phone calls that connect to the Otherworld and seven Bearers of the Covenant, each with their own Demonic Authority ruled by their Egos. To resist the irrationality that surrounds your hero, you will need to acquire the Authority of Vanity, a demonic power that exists thanks to your character’s ego and madness.
To complete a first vision of the JRPG, game menus and many dialogue scenes allow you to get a first idea of the aesthetics of Monark, arriving on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch in 2022.
