During today’s Facebook Connect, a release date was announced for the classic FPS game’s sequel game. You can play the VR game Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond on December 11.
This game, made by Respawn Entertainment, will be available on the Rift Platform and Quest via Oculus Link. The game will be released simultaneously on the Oculus Store and Steam with SteamVR and is cross-play supported.
Like Medal of Honor games in general, this game has a World War 2 setting. It features a single-player campaign covering air, land, and sea operations where the goal is to infiltrate Nazi bases as agents of the Strategic Services Office (OSS) in Europe.
There will be three acts in the campaign, and you can see them all from the First Person’s perspective, and there are no cutscenes. You will also subvert enemy plans, assist the French Resistance, and much more. It seems that this game also has a multiplayer component.
