The creators of Battlefield 2042 announced that tomorrow – December 2 – they will publish the largest shooter update to date, introducing “hundreds” of changes and news.
Soon after, the game will also include weekly missions – rewarding players with additional experience points and changing every seven days. The full list of fixes can be found on the official website.
Other novelties are new options for people who create their game modes, such as preparing matches only with vehicle skirmishes. There is also the detection of damage that has killed a character so that – for example – only knives are lethal.
It should be easier to modify gear in the Collection menu. “In short: less clicking,” the developers assure. Much attention has been paid to the interface sphere: scaling the icons should translate into better visibility, and separate indicators will show which companions are about to run out of cartridges.
Over 150 fixes related to all maps are expected to improve interactions, including collision detection. It remains to be hoped that we are talking about, among other things, flying into the interiors of buildings by helicopters.
There are also a ton of changes to the balance of individual operators and weapons, including – which players have complained about – a reduction in vehicle damage from the NTW-50 sniper rifle.
