The release of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, the next Eidos Montreal title, shown just two days ago at the Square Enix event, was announced on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. During the event, we have learned that the title will also arrive on Nintendo Switch.
To avoid resorting to too many compromises to also land on the Nintendo console, Eidos Montreal and Square Enix have opted for a solution already seen with other titles that arrived on Switch (first of all Control): the cloud. Therefore, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy will also be playable on Nintendo Switch from launch (October 26 this year).
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy will be a single-player adventure that will put us in the shoes of Peter Quill, better known as Star-Lord, leader of a group of” heroes to be hired, “a team of space misfits made up of Gamora, Drax, Rocket Raccoon, and Groot. Together for less than a year, the Guardians of the Galaxy will inadvertently create an anomaly that will take on the proportions of a galactic threat to be eradicated only by joining forces.
