The demo places the new protagonist Mono in the middle of a dark and scary forest, where he must start his journey towards the Signal Tower. Along the way, there will be many dangers to avoid. If he gets to the cabin, he will find Six, the protagonist of Little Nightmares. The problem is that she is trapped, and he needs to release her. As soon as he does this, the pair will join forces to escape the Hunter.
The full game takes place in a world where the Signal Tower broadcast distorts everything. If the pair wants to discover their secrets, they will need to conquer a series of dangers that stand between them and the tower.
Little Nightmares II will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on February 11, 2021.
