Square Enix has announced that it has completed the testing phase of the patch with the 60fps support of Life is Strange Remastered Collection and that it will send the update to Sony during the current week. The arrival of the performance mode was anticipated last February, and now, after almost two months of waiting, it seems that PlayStation users are one step away from receiving the much-desired update, unlike Xbox players.
Life is Strange Remastered Collection is the definitive collection of the first Life is Strange and includes the original chapter and the Before the Storm expansion with remastered graphics. Shortly after the launch on February 1, Square Enix announced that it was working on updates to introduce 60fps on the next gen, and today it was confirmed that the patch for PS5 will be out soon.
As for Xbox Series X, the update is still in the works and will almost certainly not arrive either this or next week. However, the study has promised that it will reveal new information on the matter soon. As for the Xbox Series S, however, this has been completely excluded from the equation, so most likely, players will have to settle for the current 30fps.
