Google has announced that it will soon roll out the latest update for the Wear OS operating system, which is now used by millions of smartwatch users worldwide. It said the update would come in the fall.
It is stated that the latest update from Wear OS comes with some improvements, especially for performance, which will make Wear OS faster to access and open applications. The connection stage will also be made simpler.

Then there are several improvements to the UI or User Interface of the Wear OS so that now the appearance of the operating system is simpler with fairly intuitive controls making it easier for users.
Google also briefly announced that during the coronavirus pandemic, the features most widely used by Wear OS users were the timer and fitness tracking feature. Because the timer itself is usually used to calculate how long the user washes their hands.

Of course, this proves that Google is currently still very focused on developing its Wear OS by presenting these new features. Of course, Google’s efforts are also made to continue to compete with the Apple Watch.
Currently, Google is also preparing to present the latest Wear OS based on Android 11 with new APIs. Because now the Wear OS operating system is still based on Android 9 Pie.
