Discrepancies in the western version of the Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy trailer for Tokyo Game Show 2020 caused concern about possible censorship.
Fortunately, Koei Tecmo America confirmed on Twitter that it would not be the case and reassured fans, promising that the game will not be censored in the West.
The concern about censorship came in the trailer for TGS 2020, as mentioned. In a quick moment (around 1:47), smoke appears in the lower part of the character’s body. This smoke is absent in the trailer in its Japanese version.
Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy will be released for PS5, PS4, and Switch on December 3 in Japan. The title will arrive in 2021 in the West for the same platforms with the PC’s addition.
