Velan Studios has kicked off the sixth season of Knockout City, its dodgeball sports video game. After a good debut in May of 2021 and the arrival on PS Plus last November, the studio has decided to separate from EA, take responsibility for the game’s publication, and move to the free-to-play model on all platforms. The title is downloadable now at no cost on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
Knockout City Season 6 brings several timed modes and a new ball, the “Boomerang Ball,” that comes back after hitting an opponent. In addition, the season introduces a new Battle Pass with crossover content with Among Us, new contracts, and other content. From this moment on, all users can download the game and join the fray for free, while all users who have purchased the game in the past will receive a thank you bundle with exclusive legendary cosmetics, XP boosts, and 2,000 Olocash.
Knockout City was launched as EA Original but is now being developed and published by Velan Studios, who thanked EA for all the support received.
