During the Summer Game Fest, Frontier Developments announced Jurassic World Evolution 2, the sequel to the first management software released in 2018. In the last few hours, the developers have published the first development diary of the game to illustrate the first details.
Jurassic World Evolution 2 will include a new campaign, an original story that continues the story told in the 2018 film Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. The campaign will be featured alongside the previously announced Chaos Theory mode, which will allow players to relive iconic moments from the Jurassic World franchise. Also new will be the Challenge mode, which will challenge players in their skills as park builders and a Sandbox mode.
As for the gameplay elements, Jurassic World Evolution 2 will introduce different types of environments: from forests to deserts, each with its own unique environmental challenges (sandstorms or snowstorms, for example) that players will have to take into account as they design their parks. Players will also have a large selection of dinosaurs at their disposal (also customizable in color). The developers have promised that Jurassic World Evolution 2’s dinosaurs will have more believable behaviors and interactions, dynamic hunts and new combat systems, and more in-depth environmental and social behaviors.
We invite you to look at the game development diary for all the news, which many others will probably follow. We will know more and more details about Jurassic World Evolution 2, waiting for a release date.
